We
offer our local chefs the freshest most
flavorful produce possible. Our produce is picked fresh the morning of
delivery.
We currently grow 30 varieties of lettuce, 24 varieties of micro greens
(endives,
arugula, exotic orientals, etc.). Chefs are welcome to visit and taste
any of
the lettuces and create their own signature salad mix. All products are
available on a year round basis and special varieties can be requested.
Growing hydroponically provides greater flavor, more nutrition and a
longer
shelf life in the produce. There is less threat of ecoili or other
bacterial
problems with hydroponically grown produce. We also grow herbs,
tomatoes and
peppers.
We sell live Micro Greens in 12 X 18 trays with 300
Plants per tray. We can also do a split tray at no extra charge.
